Omid Khorram is a practicing physician and passionate grape grower whose love for wine began over 25 years ago, inspired by his Uncle Jay. What started as a hobby has grown into a heartfelt pursuit of crafting expressive, small-batch wines.

While wine tasting in Paso Robles, Omid fell in love with the rolling hills and relaxed charm of the region. That serendipitous trip led him to Christian Lazzo Vineyard—a hidden gem planted over 40 years ago by the legendary Richard Sauret.

Now known as Lagniappe Vineyards, named after the Creole word meaning “a little something extra,” we carry on that legacy with wines full of soul, place, and purpose.
